Someone turned seven today!

Today was Lily’s seventh birthday!

She had a fun filled day of diverse fun. She woke up and opened up her presents and then we ate her favorite breakfast, German Pancakes. She got a game for her birthday, Wii Music. Alexis, Mason, and Lily loved figuring it out and playing until it was time to go to the BYUI inter mural football game. Tara, Parker cousin, called to see if she could take them – it was very nice and thoughtful of her. My kids had a blast and it made Lily’s birthday that much more special. While she was gone her Primary teacher brought her a treat over as well as one of her friends, Sam. She was very surprised and happy when she came home. She also loved talking to Grandma Baldwin and watching the fun birthday email from Grandpa and Grandma Parker.

We decided to go to pizza hut for dinner to cash in our book-its, and then we came home and had birthday cake. Lily and Alexis decorated the cake this year, and it turned out very cute – they were so proud! (Lily wanted to have a #7 cake) We spent the rest of the night playing Wii Music – it is a fun game and right up Lily’s alley. She loves music and is does very well at it.

TIDBITS on LILY:

She is 46″ tall and 46 lbs, and has lost one tooth so far. Today she is recovering from 3 skull fractures, which makes us extra grateful for her in our lives. She is a spunky and pretty little girl – we love to hear her laugh! And nothing beats watching her as she reads, plays the piano, and laughs with her brothers and sisters.

She loves to read, write, play the piano, read, find pretty rocks, hang out with her family, read, make up songs on the piano, and make cards to take to people. One of her favorite books is, “Stephanie’s ponytail”.

She is good at being thoughtful, giving compliments, obeying, following rules and directions, being helpful – she loves her baby brother, JT, and plays well with her little sister, Olivia.

She doesn’t like to get her hair fixed, jalapenos, tomatoes, or walking down our long lane when she gets home from school.

When she grows up she wants to be a doctor, the lady who checks your groceries out at the grocery store, a beautician, and most of all a mom.

Lily makes our lives happy!
