First accent up Teewinot, this has become my favorite all time hike. It is very challenging but very rewarding. Feels a lot like a mini “Grand” you get all the fun and exposure of the grand minus the people and time. Great Hike.

This was my first accent up Borah Peak. This is a steep hike that gets steeper as you go, one of the more challenging but short hikes in the area. Only 3 1/2 miles to the top but feels like 10 or more. Great view from the top.

Here we are on the south for the 3rd time great day hike. There was a group of youth that camped at Alaska Basin. I came up early in the morning to meet up with them, we then headed up past Sunset lake through “the notch”. Then up heartbreak hill to the top. One of my favorites in the area.

We climbed up to Alaska basin, up to the Grand Teton NP boundary then onto the static peak divide. At the divide we hiked up to the top of Static Peak real quick, then high tailed it out of there because it was fixin to rain. On the way out it began to pour on us so Paul and I ran as fast as we could out of Death Canyon. Mom was there to pick us up and take us home. It was a great experience for all.

We climbed the Middle Teton August 21, 2000 with family and friends. What a pretty hike, full of variety and challenges. It was a first for all of us so there was plenty of excitement in the air. Stacie did a great job, as usual she set a gruling pace for the group. Can’t wait to climb this one again. Someday I would like to spend a few days up there and climb all three in a row.

Jodi and I climbed the Grand Teton together, I had planned on climbing but we talked Jodi into climbing it the night before we went. What a priceless experience.

Dad came up with a great little 16 x 20 cabin plan that we built in just two weeks. My dad taught me how to build the trusses, and I assembled them at home on the shop floor.

We climbed the Grand again, this time with Stephanie and some of the Doug Hymas clan.
