Don’t you judge me!

Lex and Riley had a fun soccer season! They were great little players and had tons on fun too. They are so silly together – whenever they communicate with each other they use "Paul Blart" voices (really it is the character Pahoon they mimic). They would walk around saying, "don’t you judge me…." and then add something applicable.

On the last night of soccer games they went out with a bang! I looked behind me and saw a couple of big booties! It made me have a laugh – they were saying "Don’t you judge us!"

FYI – Alexis is almost there on her splits! We are very excited for her because it is one of her goals this year!

Seventh Heaven

I am loving 7th grade my only problem is my locker! I had to haul my math book around in sixth period. I was so glad to see all of my friends! There are also some fun new kids!In choir I got to see my friend from 8th grade and learned a lot from her.I really enjoyed wearing my new school clothes!Love you All!!!

Job well done

Lex had her first real job, aside from babysitting. She heard that a farmer in our ward was having some kids weed his corn. She decided on her own that this was something she wanted to pursue. She called him up, she set her alarm and was pulling weeds in his field at 6 am the next day. The farmer was impressed with her weeding speed and ability – he was quick to tell me all about it. I was a proud mom of my girl. She even got bold and asked if Mason could join in as well. He was anxious to earn a little bit of cash too. Lukcy for them both, the job didn’t last over 4 days, because reality started to set in…but then they got their checks!  May this be the beginning of many more ambitious "work" days and reinforce the benefit of higher education which will produce even better jobs.

Girls Camp 2009

This year I got to experience girls camp.I had lots of fun! We got to do archery that was fun! Then we went to a lake. Then we went to a lake after doing lots of fun projects! When we got home from the lake, we got to shower, then we went to Guys and Dolls at the playmill. I loved it! Next we went on our hike. Then we went home!

Cooking Duty…

When I was on cooking duty, we made dutch oven pizza. Only one turned out okay. I am glad I got to learn new skills for camp cooking, I’ll have to make them for you sometime!

Sleep..

My friends and I all slept  together. We chose the spot next to the bathroom,It wasn’t very fun we were trampled alot.

Snype Hunting…

We also went  Snype Hunting. We went over to a meadow, and saw something and freaked out so we went back to the cabin.(I was happy we weren’t in tents then!)

Testimony Meeting..

We were all feeling the spirit then. My friends and I were all crying and then Shay started laughing,my dad told her ”shay usually you laugh until you cry not cry until you laugh!” (I’m glad he came up.) I was the first one to give my  testimony I was happy to hear my dads testimony. We each got a Primary colors booklet with family and leaders testimonies,Thanks for your testimonies. I really enjoyed them!

Thanks…

I’m so glad I got to go to Girls Camp! I learned alot being a first year.

diggers #1 (clap, clap, clap) THE BEST! Lex had her first official gig as a sugar cheerleader. The fourth of July parade was a much anticipated event. She said it was really fun, but also really hot! We think she made the cutest cheerleader ever.

Fun with Bridget

baptisms for the dead at the rexburg temple

My cousin Bridget came this past weekend for a visit. We had a blast. She is just like me so we had lots of fun sqealing, making aprons, posing for pictures, being drama queens, making lunch with our new aprons on and getting to go to the temple to do baptisms for the dead.

Last Friday morning my dad took me and my cousin, Bridget, to the Rexburg Temple. It was my first time and I wished I would have gone sooner because it took some time – 3 hours. The Idaho Falls Temple was closed so all of those people were going to the Rexburg Temple.

When we finally got in to be confirmed we were the last ones. Bridget even got baptized for someone who had the same name as  her in either sweedish or German. It was fun to go with Bridget because she has been 9 times before and she showed me how to do things and answered my questions…especially with the shower. My dad was baptized and then he baptized me and Bridget.

I could feel the spirit and it was really fun. I hope I get to go again soon. Maybe my Grandpa & Grandma Parker will go with me and all of my Parker cousins next?

Birthday

Parker Cousins

I had a birthday party last night with my friends. We played lots of games, like: volleyball, spin the nailpolish bottle (thank you Kassie), grunt piggy grunt, and then we had an ugly shorts contest. Guess who the judges were????? Tanner and Tyson, two of my guy friends from school. My mom surprised us all and we were soooo embarrassed, but it was fun! We also got to watch Paul Blart: The Mall Cop. These are my favorite lines: "Oh, you blinked!", "shhhhh, Twist it, Twist it", "Oh Snap goes the weasal", "Do not lie to me Paul Blart", "Peanut Blart and Jelly," "Whassup man, so good to hear your voice", "Call me back , call me back!"  I love that show.

Tonight we had a party with my cousins. We had a hula hoop contest and Paige won. We had a reverse limbo contest and Mason and I tied. I was soo excited to go to Young Womens. My leaders came to visit me and brought me my personal progress boook and a beehive made out of cookies and popcorn.

Today I got lots of candies (my favorite BOB mints). My parents gave me some quilting fabrics for a project for Young Womens. I am going to make a quilt with all of the colors of the YW values.

I wish I would have felt better. I hate allergies!

Thanks for the Birthday wishes y’all.

Dad is not looking good there

loved having Riley come

Loved having Paige come too
