I’m a Big Kid Now

No, JT is not potty trained yet! He is just a little monkey. He is climbing things like crazy. Today I glanced up from doing something and he was on the top of a 3′ scaffolding! He was so proud of himself – he gave me the biggest smile he could.

Another monkey experience happened on Sunday morning. He knows his dad stashes treats in his closet (usually whopppers – which JT can say by the way). This week he had mini Heath bars. JT was able to climb up the shelves in his closet and sniffed them out all on his own. (The pictures are from my other camera and I still need to download them, pictures coming soon!)

He is almost 17 months old – one more month til nursery. He will be happy there and we will be happy to take him! It is tough to keep a monkey on your lap for 3 hours. We have actually had comments from people in our ward about the activity level at our bench. We pretty much feel like jungle gymns between JT and Olivia. I will admit that I’d rather have them loving life than sitting back to watch, although once in a while would be nice!

He is a cute little boy who loves life and the people in his life. He just learned to say apple, As I was teaching him to say apple and cow he really looked at me intently and then smiled his magical smile and laughed at me. I don’t know what that means, I am feeling a little self conscience! He loves to say the word "ball" espeically at church when he sees the basket ball hoops in the gym. We know he is thristy when he says "tink". He also pulled "pee boo" out the other day when he looked up from under his blanket to play peek a boo. I love to hear him say "soo soo soo" for shoe.

He still loves to go on bike rides (towed in the trailer), drive through the tractor store, have his dad hold him, and suck on his "kinky" (pacifier) when he goes to bed.
