Level 3

Lily has been in swimming lessons the past 2 weeks. I guessed the wrong skill level for her and put her in the level 3 class – she should have been in level 2. She took at the college where she cannot touch at all. She tried her best the frst day to keep up with the level 3 class but is just wasn’t happening. Toward the end of the class her teacher and I talked and got her to the right skill level. On the way home I asked how she was going to like swimming. She said, "Mom, they are trying to kill me! They are killing me in the water!" She thought her teacher’s were purposely wanting her to drown. I reassured her that it would be better the next day, and it was. She ended up having a wonderful experience and loves to jump off the diving board. She can swim pretty good on her own and passed level 2!  She won’t be completely solid until after level 3 which we are proud to say she will be appropriately ready for next time! Before you know it, she’ll be teaching her "illiterate when it comes to swimming" mom!

I will admit and I am seriously impressed with the talent and skill that those swimming children possess. I really might have to sign myself up with them next time.
